What does Ulthera consist of?
| Dr. Molinari, Paris

The Ulthera treatment, invented by the Merz Laboratory in 2012, uses microfocused ultrasound to restore skin tone.

This ultrasound treatment for sagging skin is mainly used on the face. Other areas may also be of interest, such as sagging abdominal skin.

Ulthera’s microfocused ultrasound provides a very deep effect, even deeper than other techniques used to treat sagging skin on the face.

It is the only FDA-approved medical procedure that has received “tissue lift” clearance, and as such, Ulthera is considered to be the medical procedure that offers results comparable to a mini-facelift without surgery.

What are the indications for Ulthera?
| Dr. Molinari, Paris

The Ulthera microfocused ultrasound procedure can be used to treat a wide range of areas prone to aging, particularly sagging skin:

  • Facial sagging,
  • Treatment of the facial oval: As we age, the contour of the facial oval becomes blurred and saggy. Ulthera allows us to reshape the oval of the face in just one session.
  • Treatment of “drooping eyelids“. Ulthera helps to “reopen” the eyes and provide a more rested face.
  • Double chin
  • Abdominal laxity (pot belly)
  • Neck wrinkles

What are the benefits of Ulthera?
| Dr. Molinari, Paris

Ultherapy (Ulthera) has many benefits. A single Ulthera session is all that’s needed to achieve convincing results, and no surgery is required.

All skin phototypes can be treated with Ulthera with no risk of discoloration.

Ulthera does not require social exclusion and patients can return to work immediately after treatment.

Ulthera provides natural results with no change in facial expression.

Ulthera: results and eventual side effects
| Dr. Molinari, Paris

A single Ulthera session is all that’s needed to achieve results that are visible in three to six months and last for several years.

Post-treatment side effects are temporary:

Moderate redness or swelling may be observed after the session. These disappear within a few days.

A major advantage is that no special precautions regarding the sun are required. Patients are free to enjoy the sunlight after their Ulthera session.

How much does an Ulthera session cost?
| Dr. Molinari, Paris

The price of an Ulthera microfocused ultrasound treatment depends on the area to be treated. To treat the oval of the face, the price is 2,400 euros, all taxes included.
